The Shard! Yes indeed, the train all the way south and here we are in Southwark. In some very trendy hotel where everything is worked by your iPad. And with an M&S food to go right over the road - so that’s me topped up with wee tinnies and her topped up with chocolate covered marzipans.
Out for an eat round to Caravan - 301ft away according to google maps. F is poorly, poor lass, so can’t join us. To the eats - a mass of crunchy little salad plates with a mesmerising array of ingredients. Plenty furikake, sumac, nigella, chermoula... and a very nice ink stout from Camden. Back to get the TV screen mirroring from the iPad. I tell yer, it’s a young man’s game.
