Emerging

Something is beginning to emerge...

Believe it or not, this is the beginnings of a wreath to decorate the front door - currently hanging in the living room trying to get into into a more round shape (the willow pickings were a bit slim this year so my poor skill was even poorer!). It seems mad to think that Christmas is almost upon us, yet in some ways I feel I've been waiting for ages.

I did a lot of present wrapping today (mostly as I have been running out of hiding space) and we did some cleaning and tidying around the house. More and more I relish a day spent doing not much at all... I used to hate them! This must be contentment.
