Street Food
We met some friends late this afternoon at the Christmas Market. It was a bit miserable, not quite cold enough for snow so it nieselnd - a fine drizzle. We had a couple of hot Punsches to warm up then ate Langos - Hungarian yeast dough fried on a hot plate and brushed with garlic oil. i started to take a photo of the man cooking them and he asked me if he would be in the newspaper. Funny he should ask that as I have been uploading some photos to the local newspaper lately. They have printed most of them - not a great accolade as they are tiny and not great quality but they attribute them to the photographer. A lot of our friends have seen them. I told the man that it is quite possible and he obligingly posed for me. i will upload it now and have a look in the paper on Wednesday when it comes out. i hope he sees it if it is printed.
