Morning in Kirkintilloch

Woke up unwell. Signed on to my GP surgery online. Got the last available appointment. 8.20. Very icy out. Phoned for a taxi. School runs meant 10 to 8 or nothing. So......

Early visit to Kirkintilloch this morning. But there was a lovely sunrise.


Overheard from some greasy oik-y wee boys in Gregs as I was buying a cup of tea.
"red sky at night, shepherds do what they like.
Red Sky in the morning, shepherds need a warning"
"I say stuff the shepherds and let them get on with it"

I just had a "huh?" moment!
