Tui in the Pohutakawa
NZ's Pohutakawa trees are beginning to flower aka NZ Christmas tree. The native tui feast on the nectar in the flowers. I captured this on my cell phone standing under the tree. Of course the tui was barely discernable. However by cropping photo a few times my tui appeared! There's no missing them as you hear them first with their melodic singing. I'm loving spring.
