Today has been a decorating day. We've moved almost everything out of the lounge and got the ceiling and glossing done before stopping for the day.

We are now hunkered down in the conservatory and missing the log burner which chucks out quite a bit of heat on a cold evening.

This lovely rose is sat by me and arrived in a flat box on Wednesday for my birthday,. The box was designed to be posted through the letter box. I didn't think it would last the night but it has and It has opened up beautifully, as have the rest of the bouquet.
