Take me to the sea!

A weekend adventure away in the, ever great, North East began today with a very icy, snowy start. The ice and frost didn't really thaw any as Mum and I made our way to Northumberland...or as the day progressed despite being by the coast! 

We have enjoyed an absolutely beautiful walk from Alnmouth to Craster along the sandy shores and a stunning coastal path. The weather was very, very cold but it was bright for much of the day - can't complain at that! Just a glorious setting for a glorious walk. :-) 

Settling into our Premier Inn for the evening with, naturally, Strictly Come Dancing to be viewed. :-D
