Sea explosion!

The sea was amazingly angry, foaming at the mouth, and throwing huge waves against the beach. I stood on the sand area at the end of the lagoon, the bit between it and the sea, snapping away trying to get good pictures of the spray.
A movement close to me caught my eye and I suddenly realised a wave had broken over the sand bar and was swishing towards me! I had to rush backwards up on to a higher bit of sand to escape the water.
I stood back and watched it as the sand bar was broken and the sea swept into the lagoon. This was a demo of how some fish get landed into the lagoon...and only some of them get back into the sea.
