Warming the Cockles of Our Hearts

Family and friends are being very kind and want to know what they can do to help. It's hard to know, so we say: nothing, although, at one point I said what I wanted was: no company. What do you mean, it's not about me! It is turning into a long weekend in the middle of a long week, however.
Eric's nephew and family came to Oregon for Thanksgiving week - couldn't have been timed worse, I figured. Luckily the Olsons are a good-sized group with plenty of others to visit. Why not just leave us off the list this time?
But they foiled us by coming over with four of their five quickly growing kids to charm and warm us for awhile.
Easily the best part of the week.
