Falling down

I noticed this lovely, fading hydrangea tipping over my neighbour 's wall today.
I was particularly taken with how one patch has retained its vibrant blue colour, and one leaf has gone such a bright yellow.

It's a perfect autumn day, with the added bonus that all hockey and rugby matches are cancelled due to frozen pitches - so time to go for a walk, bake scones and read the papers.
