Now I see it.

Yesterday I said that I still could not see from Arnside any snow on the Lakeland fells. Desperately Seeking kindly sent me some on a fine shot of Blencathra.

This morning this was the scene which greeted me when I pulled back the bedroom curtains. (No, the house is not for sale).

It is likely that such views will be frequent for the next few months.
But getting snow on the roads in Arnside is a much less common event. A situation for which we older folk in the village are on the whole grateful.
