The Gadget Show

This handy gadget is an Inverter. It converts your car's 12v dc electricity supply to 240v ac so you can use your electrical equipment without having to find the right car charger.

It won't boil a kettle but does mean you can run a computer, charge your phone, or use anything else that doesn't take too much power using a three pin plug.

I changed one of the car's 12v sockets so it has power at all times. It means I can use a laptop or charge it if the battery goes flat.

We travel a lot and have found it very useful.
