Don't Scare the Swans

Really shouldn't. Resorting to flash with garden flowers is one thing but papping preening swans may be a blip too far.
Veered off the motorway when the faint gold band of the sunset promised something spectacular - at Lithgae (or Linlithgow) with some high hopes of a silhouetted castle against the sunset. Too late, no light at the lake either, so poor minding its own business swan got flashed and not even a titbit to thank it.
