Snow

First snow of the year, lying on the ground. Not much, but noticeably more than the town 1 mile down the steep hill. A good illustration today that Neilston does really have a little micro climate as it is so much higher than surroundings.

A busy day with lots of photos, so quite hard to pick. I should probably pay the membership to get my extra slots! Other contenders included a daffodil, which has come into full bloom in my garden, which I only noticed at the same time as the first snow fell. Some brilliant pictures of my toddler, devastated as I explained to her I could not "fix" the biscuit she had just snapped in two. And a snap of us playing at marching bands later with her toy drum, tambourine and castanets, though with her hip wiggling and drum bashing she resembled more Samba Band than Pipe Band!

Can't complain about that day really. But the snow wins the blip!
