Wintry Tale

Temperatures have fallen to below freezing and we have had a light fall of snow in central Scotland.
The result is treacherous road conditions for those of us who live on the hill.

And it's unlikely  the gritting lorry will make it to outlying areas for a few days by which time we might have had a thaw.

Question is : how long will this weather last?
