White Friday

An awesome Wintery morning began with Hair Ice (pictured), it’s caused by a fungus that sculpts these beautiful ice shapes. Apparently it’s rare but we get it here anytime the conditions are right (below 0 degrees with high humidity).

I was home about 5 mins before the first snowfall of the season occurred - it’s late - but mainly big fluffy and fast sideways flakes for a few hours (although not more than a light dusting to show for it).
