Laxford River
It was a bit dull this morning with a few showers but it brightened up in the afternoon so I went up to Scourie to get a few things from the shop. I then drove to Laxford and parked the car and went for a walk along the river bank. Autumn is certainly here as the bracken had turned brown and the leaves on the trees were turning too. The sun was out but the sky had a few clouds and some of the river was in the shade but I managed to get this bit in full sun. Hubby was busy looking for sheep as we are trying to get a count of them but it appears we have about eight missing. It means he will have a long hike out to the Red Point to see if he can find them. The ground out there is very rough and boggy and I don't think I am fit enough to go with him.
