The Rules of Tuscan Fires

More burning. After I looked up the regional regulations of Tuscan open bonfires.

Must be within 250m of cultivated land.
On a still day when smoke rises straight.
Not more than three cubic metres of brush on any one fire.
Small fires rather than one big one.
If within 50m of woodland need permission.
Clear space round fire.
Ensure completely extinguished.
No bonfires between June and September.

A large stump I cleared around turns out to be an old olive tree with one shoot of olive leaves. I'm hoping it can be nurtured back into the fold.
