MISSION OF MERCY

Well, maybe that's overstating the case, but let me tell you the story. Laura's car wouldn't start this morning (don't ask) so she defrosted Chris' car and headed off to work in it. We were called to the locus armed with jump leads and made an attempt to start her car. Unfortunately, it wouldn't fire up so, the three of us headed to Halfords in Falkirk to buy a new battery. Back to California (Scotland) to fit the new battery in the freezing cold weather well after sunset. Job done and I'm now in a hot bath with a cup a soup trying to thaw out inside and out!
