Fixing the roof
It was an early start to catch the €1 train to Perpignan (amazing value as it is 35 miles away) to visit the Christmas market. The market was very underwhelming with a lot of the log cabins not open on opening day. Many that were only sold mostly sweets and cakes. However, the journey was not wasted as we found what we wanted in Galeries Lafayette and some speciality shops. We were back for lunch so I watched the Ashes cricket highlights and then walked up and down the steep streets and steps of the village just for the exercise. There is nothing to prepare for dinner tonight as friends have invited us out.
