A splash of colour .....

..... on a grey day.

My first full day down in London and I've spent it having a day out with my mum. The weather has been a bit grey and damp all day so we decided to have a trip out to Crews hill where there are dozens of garden centers and pet stores.

This photo was taken in the Crews Hill gardening club which has huge glasshouses full of the usual bedding plants as well as lots of exotic species. The scale of the place is vast and the benches of plants go on for as far as the eye can see. After buying a few bulbs we had a nice pub lunch and a tour around various newsagents trying to find a copy of this weeks time out listings magazine only to find out that they stopped publishing it a few weeks ago.

I'm planning a cultural day for tomorrow, visiting various galleries and exhibitions in town.
