Kids and Thanksgiving

Our table did not look like it was out of a magazine. We had kid decorated turkeys for centerpieces. The name cards were written by a five year old just learning his letters. The two and three year olds needed naps and didn't want to eat turkey. The baby had skipped his nap and didn't want to eat his ground chicken and mashed sweet potato. It was not relaxing. BUT I wouldn't have it any other way. As my husband said, we were thankful for every person seated at our table.
Grateful today for...our Colorado relatives joining us once again for Thanksgiving.
