LET YOU SOAR

To mark a significant date, This is an  inspired blip to my friend who passed away. He once created a fascinating exhibition on other peoples mantlepieces. A kind of visual biography, a snapshot, a static narrative or in my case a mantle selfie.  Its kind of ironic in a way  because the painting hanging over my mantlepiece is of a very barren Yorkshire moorland landscape. His homeland, and my place to return to... When we return will try out on your new bench,  polish your bronze plaque and eat your famous ice cream and laugh about the time we all almost broke the last seat that the whippet had to jump off.. :) x   always with us...inspiring, laughing, teaching... x
