A Day of Two Halves

I felt a little better this morning and as it was bright and sunny I went for a walk into Shottery Village.  The tree on the village green is looking fairly magnificent though across the road on Jubilee Walk I was surprised to find some mistletoe growing on the lower branches of a tree (see extra).

This afternoon we went into town for the Great Stratford Switch On. The day when the mayor lights the Christmas decorations that have bedecked the streets for the last couple of weeks.  I took some photos but as can be seen it was pretty busy so here's a rough and ready starter with no doubt more to follow over the next month.
