Hopeful pair

Headed to rural Suffolk today for a long- planned lunch with friends. After last night’s heavy rain the country roads were awash with mud, but it was an enjoyable drive on a beautiful blue sky day. Lunch was delicious, and the friends’ two dogs were clearly beguiled by the yummy smells pervading their farmhouse kitchen. Sorry dogs, we scoffed the lot!
