Burano

We have been several times to Venice and each time we have left feeling there were still things to do and to see there. We had not been out to the islands so this trip was the time to tick that particular box. So off we went to Murano and watched glass being blown.
Then onward to Burano which was a real treat with their wonderfully painted houses. The lavender coloured one in the blip was my favourite. They painted their homes bright colours so fishermen could see their way home. Now it serves a different purpose.
