Good to see the sun rise .....

....... after three awful days of dark skies and heavy rain.

I took the dogs to Pollok Park this morning .... great to be out enjoying the fresh air and late autumn sunshine. The puddles were huge and in some places they stretched right across the paths so ten feet had to do some paddling. The grass was saturated so no matter where we walked our feet were in water .... but that didn't matter because the sun was shining!

The extra photo is not particularly inspiring but I rather liked the way the rising sun cast its glow on one window of a nearby house.
