If these geese flew any lower........

........they'd be fish!
It was a glorious day up at Lake of Menteith; cold but brilliant sunshine and barely a breeze at all.
After taking Maggie to the asthma clinic (annual check-up) we made up a picnic lunch and headed off towards the Trossachs. Lake of Menteith was in stunning form and I took a good panorama but decided on this shot of geese coming in to land. (Can you "land" on water?)
We decided to head down onto Flanders Moss in case there were more geese feeding in the fields and to have our lunch. Returning home,we nipped into a garden centre for a couple of scones. Home, kettle on and scones buttered we were about to settle down when the doorbell rang. Maggie went and Rona seized her chance - and Maggie's scone!
She may be out of favour but she has still managed to slip up onto the couch beside Maggie for a snooze.
