Shopping...

We met after work and enjoyed a leisurely wander through the downtown area admiring the Christmas sights. One of the department stores dazzled with this gold display. We did a few errands, got my sweetie set up with his new (and 1st ever) cellphone & accessories. He has only ever had a work blackberry. We had about 90 minutes to wander before we were to attend the university hosted alumni event at a lovely downtown hotel. We had a great night reconnecting with friends and reminiscing. After a few glasses of wine and appies we toddled off for the train ride home. We are fortunate to be meeting the Dean of Social Sciences (my faculty) and her assistant for lunch tomorrow. Great day....lots of laughs. Nice feeling of Christmas cheer in the air!
