My Bookcase.

This is a bookcase in my daughters room full of lots of brightly coloured kids stuff the bookcase itself used to sit in my bedroom when I was a little girl too, I can remember it being red, pink, dark blue, white and pale blue and now it's white again.

Underneath all those layers of paint is a very lovely oak! funny what we do to beautiful natural wood isn't it! However I kinda like that my daughters little books and toys sit on the same shelves that my little books and toys sat on. I wonder if it'll still be standing for my daughters children, or indeed what colour it will be by then!
