Past their best.
Back in mid October I blipped a bunch of flowers that I got for looking after Ben’s friend’s Guinea pig for a few days. Three weeks later, when I left my driving job, I got another bunch, this time from a retired army captain, a lovely guy, from Yetholm who was a regular traveler on my bus. I threw out all the ones from the original bunch that were dead, and added the new ones. Now, another three weeks on, They are definitely not as fresh as they were, but I thought they would make one last colourful blip to counteract the dreich day we have had.
I’m delighted to be feeling so much better today and actually got quite a good sleep last night. Hopefully this is me finally on the mend.
