First

"The first shall be last" goes the Biblical saying, and so it was on our Ramblers' walk around the Glasgow Murals Trail today.

We did the walk 'back to front' as it were, starting at no.22 on the official trail and finishing off at no.1 ("Hip-Hop Marionettes" - pictured). We also added in a few murals that aren't on the official guide, but are pretty amazing too.

Although 30 of us started out this morning, various members of the group opted out at different points along the way, no doubt influenced by the incessant rain, which varied from steady drizzle to downpour throughout the day. I reckon about 12 - 14 of the group made it as far as the marionettes, our 27th (or thereabouts) mural of the day.

A well-earned pint followed. Now on my way home to have a shower and to change into dry clothes. Job done!
