Jay in the garden...

Appologies for this similar photo of 'our' jay.  It's the best shot I've managed to get yet. He obliged by sitting quite still while waiting for the squirrel to get off the bird table. 

The trouble with our garden is that it is quite shaded in the mornings when the birds are most active, so difficult to get a fast enough exposure with a low enough ISO to give good feather detail and a decent depth of field.

The rest of the day has been taken up with this and that, and this afternoon it was the usual trip over to Fulbourn for Margaret's volunteer job.

This evening is a committee meeting for the Camera Club... Getting ready for the AGM and next years exciting program of activities.
