Birthday boy

Why do traffic alerts only work when you've arrived at the problem?  I got within three hundred yards (yes, yards, and whilst I'm on the subject, bring back pounds and ounces) before I hit a road block and had to turn off along with all the other traffic, including a full car transporter, which had to negotiate a few tight bends and narrow village street.

I eventually made it to class, after which I picked up JJ and took him out for a lovely birthday lunch, and then we strolled around the block in a bit of a gale.

My puddle light has decided to start working again.
