Recovery...

Alfred had his operation today - to remove a tumour from inside his back leg and a black patch from the skin in the same area. It’s all been sent off for analysis with some blood for testing. Hopefully it will all be okay. The vet was pleased with how the surgery went. Alfs has just had his first meal in 20 hours and is now snoozing peacefully - thankful that Mr K spared him the cone of shame and indulged in an inflatable collar instead. He can now walk round the neighbourhood with his head held high - like an Elizabethan Nobleman in his ruff!
