The W Word

I can spell you know - EVERYBODY knows what the W word means.  It means a walk is imminent, that's what it means.

I don't actually remember this from last year - in fact it didn't happen last year because I've only lived with them for about 5 and a half months, but at this time of year we have to wait until it gets cooler in the evenings because we don't want burnt paws.  

Which is very hard for me to bear, on account of I like to go for a walk at about 4 pm, because it breaks the day up nicely.,  We go for a walk, we have dinner, we have a little play, I have a nap, I get ready for bed at 9 pm when I go outside just one more time, and then I belt up stairs and try desperately to jump on the bed, but I can't so she has to lift me up, and magically there is a treat for me to munch on.  Then we have another little bed play, which we call sharkey teef, because I pretend to bite but I don't really, because someone could get hurt, and we don't want that to happen.  And I get a final tummy rub, and she says, come on George time for bed-byes, at which time I jump off the bed all by myself ( that's the theory), and we all go to sleep.
