A  day that gathered pace as it went on.

WFH for the morning; no great disaster there as the weather was grey and grisly; so I ploughed into a pile of work; and at lunchtime even though it looked grim, I strolled up to Lidl; essential supplies were laid in and back to the grind I went. With occasional soup prodding and curry sauce making.

At 5 I quit and headed to hers armed with said curry and a token for the newly done kitchen. 

We embarked on a City Car Club virgin voyage to Asda; oh the excitement. (With a £750 excess, there had better be no excitement..!) 

And 75 mins later we were done (the space having been nabbed by some eejit notwithstanding)

Hallumi and the last of the puy lentil salsa gave way to the Ottolenghi duck and mango curry and a cheeky wee coconut macaroon before I went home (via the puddle at the end of the street I'd spotted whilst walking back from the CCC drop off)
