This morning I was cooking breakfast...

....when there was the big yellow bang...when I switched the hotplate off. Both socket and hotplate were blackened. Neither work now. I felt it, it knocked me sideways. I didn’t have my cochlear speech processor on or else it might have fried my circuits as well.

Did some research and it turns out cochlear implant can take quite a bit of voltage and still be okay.

I am prone to a lot of static electricity. And that bothers me a bit. I have always been like that.

Still a wee bit stresssssssssssed..
