Slateville Presbyterian Church

On our recent trip to Pennsylvania, one of my goals was to find the graves of my mother's parents and grandparents. After Bob and I wandered among the graves for an hour or so, we succeeded. I took many pictures to share with our family. This was my favorite.


Not far from the church we explored Coulsontown, where we saw remnants of a community that was settled by Welsh immigrants in the mid-19th century. These old stone houses, very much like their former homes in Wales, are what remains of that settlement. You can see two in the extras, and I have posted more pictures from this visit on my website.
