Crathes Estate

On a visit to Crathes Castle and Garden we came across this handsome animal near the the road leading to the castle. We couldn't resist stopping for a photograph. We often see highland cattle in the fields but seldom so close they can be touched.

This character was neither shy nor camera shy. Though not keen on having his horns played with as a woman standing nearby found out when she tried to hold one of the horns, he was not impressed and shook her hand off, though did not move away.
