Rose Hip Serenade

With a high of 24 forecast we, The Boss and ME, set off a little earlier to do my favourite trail down the outlet trail and back around the edge of the Sticky Forest.  It’s called The Sticky Forest ‘Cos it’s full of pine trees and they get a bit sticky with the sap stuff especially if you are handling it, which we don’t.
We had a bit of a surprise when we were “overtaken” by a bunch of 39 tourists on bikes. The Boss had a stop at the local council office about that one..Time will tell. There are those who would be very happy to convert Wanaka into another Queenstown but some locals may not share the same enthusiasm as that’s not why we chose to live here.

Tomorrow we may find a different trail to wander along.
