The building on the right as viewed is an emporium of treasures of all kinds - known here in the US as a "hardware store".  They sell almost everything you could ever want from household goods, tools, lightbulbs, plants, work clothes, cool weather hiking clothes, boots, bird seed and feeders, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, building supplies.  Well, you get what I mean and this view is so quiet and peaceful.  The serenity was broken yesterday afternoon at 4 p.m. after the store closed for the day when an 18 year old young man was shot and killed in his car.  The details have not been released as there is an active investigation.  Not sure if they've caught the suspect, but they have "located" him/her is what the news report said.  This is a small town of about 18,000 people.  It is usually as idyllic as this looks.  Americans and guns - a deadly combination.  Feeling for the families that will not feel very "Thankful" this year.
