Looking on gargoyles!
We are in a wonderful appartment in Seville, on the fifth floor looking at the cathedral! These gargoyles are so old! This was to be for memories, but as it’s MM200. It is supposed to be celebration! We are celebrating this fantastic view from our window!!
Going back in the day: we had an excellent breakfast at the hotel! Then we met up with the youngest son, mum and the two girls at Stanstead airport. I took lots of photos of Spain as we flew across to Seville. Taxi to the hotel and then Ro and I went for a long walk in the town. We were aiming for the Metropol Parasol. (Extras) A gigantic wooden structure. Fantastic but I’m not sure that it’s totally in keeping with this city of very narrow winding streets. A real labyrinth in parts! Beautiful gardens with ancient trees, and wider streets lined with orange trees! I love Seville! We ended up in El Corte inglese where we picked up some food for dinner. We felt too exhausted to choose a restaurant! But we did go back out to the nearby ice cream shop! I had yama tostada which was delicious!
