One school of thought says that one should keep up with the leaf fall, sweeping frequently so that it never gets out of hand. Others say there is no point in sweeping until all the leaves are down. It is easy to see how Normous feels! Despite having a new leaf blower, he will wait. The big beech tree by the gate is almost bare, but others round about have a way to go.
I spent a short while in the garden with a session hoeing. I shall have to stop hoeing now as there are already signs of bulbs coming through. Forget Christmas, Spring is on its way!
