Full Day

Compost delivery this morning and a chat with Ken who's wife is suspected of having Parkinson's they are just waiting for the results of a brain scan.They decided to have the scan done privately due to the NHS waiting time.Helen who has also not been so well tried to make an appointment at the doctors and the earliest available is a week on Tuesday and they ask why people use A&E.

Meeting with Ben and we have booked a lot of cuttings with him although probably less than last year due to our use of biological control.

We have about three thousand trays of Viola to get done this week so made a start this morning.An hour in and the conveyor belt on the tray filler stopped working.After removing the motor and variable speed drive both of which seem to be working well decided it must be the final drive so we have ordered a replacement in.We should have it tomorrow.I had to lever the drives apart the lower one being made of cast broke and guess where it was made.Italy again!!!!!

That has been most of my day.
