Another wet and grey afternoon that didn't provide inspiration for a blip.

I checked out the Mono Monday challenge and discovered that it's their 200th anniversary.  Wow. That's quite an achievement.  The theme this week is "Festive" and what could be more appropriate than a toast with a glass of bubbly.  I love champagne but find some of the Cremants made by traditional methods equally good. We stayed at the wine growers Joseph Freudenreich in Alsace in July. Their Cremant at 7 euros a bottle can't be beaten.

I am having a wine free week having consumed quite a quantity on Saturday.  But it would be a shame not to say cheers to the Mono Monday anniversary, so maybe a glass later will be the  order of the day.
