Precocious

First bud to open from the many winter flowering narcissus in the cold frames.  This one is a Hoop Petticoat, Narcissus bulbocodium in the broadest sense.  Good to catch it early ..... it'll make another blip in a day or two when fully open.

A mostly dull, damp day, brightened by a visit from Diane, a long standing gardening friend this morning and a decent catch-up chat with ITTH from here.  More time with friends in one day than I usually get in a week :-)

Jamie looking a bit brighter - I must away and finish the trimmings to go with the roast chicken just out of the oven.  See if that tempts him!
