Arcachon

We have a package on its way to us at Biscarrosse, Poste Restante. Having got a little ahead of ourselves, we need to hang out somewhere for a few days. Happily, we found a campsite still open at Arachon. After leaving Le Bilos we visited the big dune at Pilat and then came here.

It is a pleasant site with established planting that feels like a woodland garden. There is access to the forest directly from the site and we made the most of that this afternoon. Nell ate something evil-smelling in the woods, which has just come back to haunt us...

Our house sale completed today, so we are now homeless wanderers. We shall see what transpires. Fizz has been broached. Tomorrow we buy a zillion premium bonds.
