Its been a horrible and very wet day today until this afternoon and more forecast for the next few days.  Had a wander around the garden once it had stopped, looking for something to blip and then remembered somebody posting a video of a starling murmeration on Facebook and even better is that its just down the road!!  I used to see them regularly but they've been missing for the past few years, but are now back, brilliant.  It was mesmerising to watch and stayed until they dropped!  Gave Misty a short walk on the marsh afterwards and it was dark when we got back to the car.  A guy pulled up next to me and put waterproof clothes on, got his dog out the car together with a shotgun!!
