Beech with a view

One of only two pictures I’ve taken today and is a tree I can see from the front of the house.

I’ve had a day out with friends, visiting the new shopping centre at Rushden Lakes in Northamptonshire. Unfortunately the weather didn’t help but I must say we were distinctly underwhelmed, although a walk around the nature reserve may be worth a visit on a sunny day, but I won’t be rushing back.
